Core owner buys oil engineering plant from ChelPipe for 1.2 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Mar 5 (PRIME) -- Andrei Komarov, core owner of Russia’s Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant (ChelPipe), has acquired 100% in ChelPipe’s oil engineering plant Rimera-Alnas for 1.173 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Friday.

The deal was signed on Thursday, and the money should be transferred in 30 days.

The board of directors of ChelPipe earlier approved the sale of Rimera, the oil servicing division of the company, including oil and gas machine engineering plant Izhneftemash, producer of submersible equipment for oilfields Alnas, and Rimera-Service, the chain of service centers in key oil producing regions of Russia.
